Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) training in Chicago
Strength training, compressed to 20 minutes
Coach-led EMS strength sessions that recruit your major muscle groups together in ~20 minutes. Joint-friendly. Time-efficient. FDA-approved.
How EMS works
Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) uses controlled electrical impulses to contract your muscles while you move through guided exercises. In about 20 minutes, we train all major muscle groups together. Sessions are coach-supervised, joint-friendly, and use FDA-cleared equipment designed for muscle conditioning.
Strengthen your muscles, reduce back pain.
Many clients choose EMS for trunk and full-body strength in less time. If you have back discomfort and are cleared for exercise, EMS can be an accessible, supervised way to train.
Time-efficient by design
EMS recruits many muscle fibers at once, making each movement count without overloading your joints.
Feel energized, not soaked
Sessions are short and effortful. Many clients report a clean “post-workout” buzz.
Burn calories even after your workout
EMS boosts metabolism and increases muscle activation, so you keep burning calories for hours post-session.
Sustainable, efficient, and safe
Your coach screens for contraindications, sets a conservative starting intensity, and progresses you session by session.

Train smarter, not harder
With just 2 people per EMS session, your trainer gives you full attention, ensuring every workout is tailored to your goals. They guide, correct, and push you – so you get the most out of every session without wasting time.
Expert guidance
Your trainer ensures proper form and intensity, so you get the most out of every session safely.
Small groups (max 4)
Train with others, keep the focus.
Accountability
Your slot, your coach, your progress.
Tailored to you
Intensity and movements adjust to your goals and week-to-week readiness.

Your first visit
Your first session is ~30 minutes: a brief health questionnaire, suit fit, and a 15–20 minute coached EMS workout. We start conservatively (often 1×/week at first) and adjust based on how you feel.
Before the first session
Have a light, protein-rich meal about 45 minutes beforehand, and make sure you’re well hydrated before your workout.
What to wear
We provide the special suit, shorts, and top which you'll use during the workout.
How does EMS feel
EMS feels like firm, rhythmic muscle contractions. Your coach will adjust the intensity up or down based on your performance and comfort level.
